Episode 1: The Kandagawa is Calling[]

Lying in bed, Misa receives a call and heads out of her room, progressing into jogging to her destination.

At school Misa glances out the window. She heads into a do not enter area and takes part in a virtual reality practice of Kandagawa. The simulation begins to flicker between two separate environments and she cancels it angry that it is all wrong.

Tending to her injured foot she sees a thief running with Rin's stolen bag. Misa intervenes by tripping the thief and she is livid with him since she used her injured leg to do so.

Her videogame story arc starts with her meeting new roommate Rin Namiki, as the pair share a love of jet racing. She reluctantly agrees to team with Namiki and challenge to win the Kandagawa Cup despite her own worries. Later, as the duo bond and open up, she admits that her sister was once a top jet racer before injury forced her sister to retire. She worries that she would not be able to match the level of skill her sister showed. She, with the help of Namiki, overcomes those worries and wins the Cup, defeating the Sea Serpants in the finals. Before winning a showcase race against Dress afterwards.

She and Namiki play roles in the other teams' stories, ranging from challenging to being challenged to races with varying influence. In her and Namiki's story they defeat Dress in the opening river ownership bet race, but in Dress' story they lose that race. In Grindcore's story they become a rival team, and eventually in the final story become the second team to defeat Grindcore.
